Peterson & McCoy is a small, professional estate agency team based in New Brighton. Adam and Rachael stay closely involved in the properties we’re marketing, the buyers we’re speaking to and the chains we’re progressing.
Because we’re a small team, you’re not passed between departments or expected to explain your move from scratch every time you call. We work closely together, share updates and keep a clear view of what is happening with each sale from launch through to completion.
Adam brings together 17 years of experience in data analytics, 15 years of buying and selling property, and his expertise as a qualified mortgage adviser.
He founded Peterson & McCoy to offer a more personal, informed approach to estate agency, with the name itself inspired by his grandmothers’ maiden names.
My approach is practical, personal and led by evidence. Valuations are based on local data, comparable sales and current market conditions rather than gut feel. I carry out viewings myself, handle negotiations directly, and as a qualified mortgage adviser I can also help buyers understand their options and keep sales moving.
Rachael joined Peterson & McCoy in January 2026 and brings a wealth of customer service knowledge to the team. A New Brighton native, she knows the area inside out and is always happy to share her local insight with buyers and sellers.
You’ll usually find Rachael in the office, helping to keep everything organised and making sure clients are kept informed throughout their move. She also carries out the occasional viewing, where her friendly manner and knowledge of the local area help prospective buyers feel at ease.
Eddie is our resident pawtage advisor, chief greeter and all-round office dogsbody. He takes a particularly hands-on approach to client care, usually involving a thorough sniff, an enthusiastic welcome and the occasional attempt to supervise from under the desk.
When he isn’t keeping an eye on the office, he specialises in fetching leads, chasing tails rather than chains, and making sure nobody leaves without a little extra attention. His negotiation style is simple: persistent, persuasive and usually settled with a treat.
Our office at 8 Atherton Street puts us in the heart of New Brighton. It gives sellers and buyers a visible local base, and means we’re close to the market we work in every day.
